Opal Keltner

Opal Evelyn Keltner, 93, of Blue Springs, MO passed away Thursday, April 05, 2012 at Waterford Ladies Home from natural causes. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel. Burial in Floral Hills Cemetery. Opal was born September 27, 1918 in Deep Water, MO to Ed and Margaret (Epple) Jones. She was an avid bowler and loved traveling in her spare time. Mrs. Keltner worked as an assistant to Dr. Carrier on the Plaza for several years. Opal loved her family dearly and they were the light of her life! Mrs. Keltner enjoyed entertaining family and friends in her home. Opal is survived by her sons Joe Broadus and wife Therese, Don Broadus and wife LuAnn; grandchildren Kimberli Weaver, Don R. Broadus, Ariana Broadus, Kaley Broadus, Camille Broadus; great-grandchildren Tec and Brianne Weaver; sister-in-law Margery Jones.
