Dale Kenneth Kemery
Dale Kenneth Kemery of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022. He was 70 years of age.
Dale was born on October 20, 1951, in Peru, Illinois. The son of Dale and Betty (Smith) Kemery, he was one of two children.
Dale moved to the Kansas City area with his family at a young age, graduating from North Kansas City High School class of 1969, he then went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree from Avila University. He married the love of his life and his best friend Kathleen Cona, from this union came 3 children. Dale worked for many years in management at Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He enjoyed watching the Chiefs play, music, attending car shows; more than anything though, Dale loved his family. He was a tremendous man and will be deeply missed.
Dale is survived by his wife of 51 years, Kathleen Kemery; children, Lisa (CJ) Moran, Brian (Heather) Kemery, Jeff (Kristin) Kemery; grandchildren, Clare Moran, Megan Kemery, Jackson Kemery, Oliver Kemery; sister, Kate McClain; nephew, Doug McClain. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Betty Kemery.
A private Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested contribution be made to Juvenile Diabetes.
