Venita R. Kemmerly, 84, of Independence, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2004 St. Luke�s Northland Hospital. Visitation will be 10-11:00 am Saturday at George C. Carson and Sons Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. Venita was born September 28, 1919 in Atchison, KS to Joseph and Vivian (Stanley) Arthur. She graduated from Atchison High School in 1937. Mrs. Kemmerly is survived by her cousin Bob Stanley; sister-in-law Betty Rees; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Venita was preceded in death by her husband Donald Kemmerly in 1998.
