Thelma M. Kemp, 91 of Independence passed away Sat. Mar 29, 2008 at the home of her daughter. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm, Tue. Apr. 1, 2008 at Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to Grace Hospice or donate to a person or charity in her name. She would appreciate that. Mrs. Kemp was born on Sep. 13, 1916 to Otto and Pauline (Huxol) Buddemeyer in Independence, MO. She had been a Bookkeeper with BB Drug Store retiring in 1992. Thelma was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed doing church work, charitable activities and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and had helped a lot of people in need. She was a faithful member of Fairmount Christian Church for many years. Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Henry in 1978 and a daughter, Billie Sincox in 2001. She is survived by a son Mark Kemp and wife, Marilyn of Arnold, MO, a daughter, Bobbie Kemp of Independence and a son-in-law Clay Sincox of Independence. Four grandchildren, Kent Sincox, Christie Sincox, Holly Barnes and Mark A. Kemp. Five great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter.
