Betty L. (Angotti) Kenley, 80, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be 3-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the church where the rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. Entombment in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Betty was born January 2, 1929 in Kansas City, MO to Frank and Teresa (Torchia) Angotti. She was an active and faithful member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and was a founding member of the St. Joseph Table. Mrs. Kenley retired from the banking industry in 1987. Betty is survived by her daughter Debbie Barrett and husband Michael, son Stephen Kenley and wife Martha, daughter Denice Estell and husband Roger; grandchildren Stephanie Portlance and husband Shawn, Adam and Nick Estell; step-grandchildren Becca, Maggie and Teddy Sheetz, Michael and Tim Barrett, Katie Wunderlich and husband Mark; great-grandsons Brett and Chase Portlance; sisters Mary Cosentino, and Edith Sacco; brothers Adolph M. Angotti and wife Marge, Richard F. Angotti and wife April; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Philip Kenley in 2000; two sisters, four brothers; and a granddaughter.
