Kerry Lane Burnett

Kerry Lane Burnett, 65 of Kansas City, MO passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. There will be a memorial gathering of family and friends to celebrate his life from 2-4:00 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Kerry was born January 2, 1960 in Louisville, KY to Shirley and Roma (Halberg) Burnett. He has been a longtime area resident and worked as a swimming pool installer for Dreamscapes in Bates City, MO. He enjoyed fixing cars, flying drones, riding motorcycles and was an avid dog lover. His survivors include; 9 children, Jeromy Kluender and Krystle Burnett of Kansas City, KS, Stormy Courter of Washington, Cheyanne Brown of Arizona, Dalton Salazar and Holly Bruner both of Kansas City, KS, Kalee Burnett of Kansas City, MO, Jackson Burnett of Oak Grove, MO and Dylan Keltner of Odessa, MO; his companion, Wendy Krisman of the home; 4 brothers, Ron Burnett, Dale Burnett, Guy Burnett all of California and Mark Burnett of Oregon; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, Alex Ray in 2023 and a sister, Sandra Butler in 2018.
