Bernice I. Kester (Diesko)

Bernice I. Kester, 93, of Independence, MO passed away June 30, 2015 at Rosewood Health Center. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. prayer service on Monday, July 6, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO. Burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery. Bernice was born April 14, 1922 in Sugar Creek, MO to Frank and Mildred (Onka) Diesko. She was a homemaker, as well as previously working for Sheffield Steel. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Bootka; and second husband, Charles Kester.
