Kevin Ray Fjeld, of Hollister, Florida, passed away in Kansas City, Missouri, on August 11, 2026, at the age of 67. He was born in Fargo, North Dakota, on November 28, 1958.

Kevin was a pleasant and kind man who was a joy to be around. He was incredibly intelligent and had a natural mechanical mind. He loved solving problems, figuring out how things worked, and finding creative solutions. He enjoyed tinkering and completing puzzles, always taking great pride in the details of whatever he was working on. He was highly respected both personally and professionally. His knowledge and expertise were valued by many, and even after retirement, former employees continued to call him for his advice and guidance—a testament to the impact he had on those he worked with.

Kevin was also a talented craftsman. He made metal sports plaques as special gifts for family members and meticulously assembled model airplanes, demonstrating the patience, precision, and care he brought to everything he did. Kevin had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed sharing a laugh with those around him. In his quieter moments, he could often be found watching his favorite westerns.

Kevin will be remembered for his intelligence, kindness, humor, problem-solving nature, and the many ways he used his talents to help and bring joy to others. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, former colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Kevin’s passing is preceded by his father, Vernon Fjeld; his beloved wife, Linda Fjeld; his brother, Anthony “Tony” Fjeld; his sister-in-law, Kathy; and his brother-in-law, Tim Gall. His legacy lives on through his mother, Janice Fjeld; his sibings, Linda Gall, Larry Fjeld, and Rodney Fjeld (Terri); his niece, Brittney Fjeld; his nephews, Andrew Gall and Robert Fjeld; as well as several great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Kevin will be held at Funhouse Pizza on 40 highway from 4 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, August 15th.
