Mary Kilgore

Mary Marthalene Edwards Kilgore, 92 of Ocean Springs, MS formerly of Buckner, MO, passed away, Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at her residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial will be in Buckner hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the chapel. Mary was born May 7, 1916 in Orrick, MO to George and Anna A. (Robinson) Edwards. Mrs. Kilgore was a wife, mother and homemaker and blessed with six children. She was married to Herbert Andrew Kilgore in October of 1932; He preceded her in death in 1970. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Etta Ann Mullens in 1963. Survivors include; a daughter, Mary (Betty) Wilson of Ocean Springs, MS; 4 sons, George Kilgore and his wife Marian of Independence, MO, Howard Kilgore of Kansas City, MO, James Kilgore of Independence, MO and Donald Kilgore of Blue Springs, MO; 17 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
