Mi Dae Ja Kim

Mi Dae Ja Kim, 68, Lee’s Summit, MO passed away Feb. 7, 2010. A service will be held at 7:30 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, preceded by visitation beginning at 6:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Wed., Feb. 10 at the funeral home; interment at Blue Springs Cemetery.
Mi Ja was born Dec. 3, 1941 in Osaka, Japan. She and her family came to the United States in 1976. She was a member of the Korean Antioch Church of the Nazarene in Kansas City, KS. She was very active in the church and spent her life glorifying the Lord and putting others first. She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Mi Ja is survived by her husband of forty-three years Yong Ung Kim, of the home; son Jin Hong Kim, Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Sae-Jin Kim Stigman, Weston, MO; son Jong Su Kim, Shawnee, KS; daughter Ruth Mi-Yong Kim, Lee’s Summit, MO; sisters Kyung Song, South Korea; Yong-Ae Herndon, Lee’s Summit, MO; Jo Song, South Korea; Sun Wendelton, Blue Springs, MO; and four grandchildren.
