Billy Wayne Kimmel, 78, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Northland Ltac.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 24, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Englewood Cemetery, Clinton, MO. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Billy was born December 17, 1932 in Kansas City, MO the son of Clarence B. and Mildred (Pierce) Kimmel. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Billy retired after 30 years with ARMCO Steel as a machinist. He enjoyed going to garage sales, being outdoors and fishing. Billy was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife Norma of 52 years; sons, Steven and Phillip Kimmel; and granddaughter Ivy.
