Wilma May King, 80, Buckner, MO died March 5, 2010. Services will be 2 pm, Monday, March 8, 2010 at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO; interment at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Wilma was born April 8, 1929 in Gallatin, MO. She married Carl W. King in Gallatin on Sept. 15, 1945. She enjoyed cooking, reading and tending her vegetable garden.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Carl King and son Harold Ray “Butch “ King. She is survived by sons Don King, Buckner, MO; Pete King, Blue Springs, MO; daughter Dorothy Yardley, Oak Grove, MO; sisters Virginia Vanderpool, Cameron, MO; Emily Fisher, Des Moines, IA; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
