Charles Kirkendall

Charles Richard Kirkendall, 68, of Kansas City, MO passed away May 12, 2013. A visitation will take place from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Cremation will follow. Charles was born January 11, 1945 in Kansas City, MO. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Francis Kirkendall; son, Richard Kirkendall; daughter, Amy Kirkendall and fiancé John O’Maley; grandson, Trever “Hotrod” Kirkendall and wife Michelle; two great grandchildren, Trever “Little Hotrod” and Johanna “Little Miss”; one sister, Kathleen Cummings and husband LaVell; and one brother, Mike Kirkendall and wife Sandy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
