Richard Kirkendall

Richard Matthew Kirkendall, 47, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2013. No services are scheduled at this time. Rick was born May 19, 1966 in Kansas City, MO to Charles Richard and Francis (Ingram) Kirkendall as one of two children. Rick especially loved his family, gathering together for holidays, and fishing. He spent many days on his wave runner at the family lake house and participated for over ten years with Special Olympics earning awards for many sports. Rick is survived by mother, Francis, of the home; sister, Amy Kirkendall and fiancé John O’Maley; nephew Trever Kirkendall and wife Michelle of Independence, MO; great niece and nephew, Johanna and Trever; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
