George M. Kirkpatrick

George Mitchell Kirkpatrick, 70 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away, Sunday, May 31, 2015 at John Knox Village Hospice. Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2015 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055 with visitation to follow. Donations may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice. George was born February 27, 1945 in Chattanooga, TN to George M. and Cynthia M. (Clark) Kirkpatrick. He had worked as a cost estimator for Marley Cooling Towers later SPX Corp. He enjoyed working around the house, going on cruises and being father and husband. He was a member of the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church. George was a beloved husband to Beverly and caring father to his precious daughter Allison. He will be greatly missed.
