Alice Klenklen

Alice D. Klenklen, 45, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at her home. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 9-11:00 a.m. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Alice was born August 2, 1965 in Kansas City, MO to Howard and Marilyn (Neptune) Rew. She graduated in 1983 from Saint Mary’s High School in Independence, MO. Alice had worked for Blue Valley Bank, Business Men’s Assurance, Datasource, Teamster’s Local Union 41 and 838, International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, and Aramark. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling, pool, dancing and watching Slammers basketball. Alice is survived by her son Steven Klenklen; daughter Jacqueline Klenklen; grandson Chase Daniel Brewer, parents Howard and Marilyn Rew; brother Allen Rew and wife Vicki Skolaut Rew; and by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by grandparents Nellie Snorgrass Phipps, Clarence and Opal Elston Rew.
