Betty Ann Kleuver (Swigart)

October 24, 1932 — April 5, 2021

Betty Ann Kleuver, 88, passed away peacefully at her home in Independence, Missouri, on Monday, April 5, 2021. She was born to Marion and Mildred Swigart on October 24, 1932 in Wellington, Missouri.
Betty spent her entire career working at Sears before retiring in 1991. After that Betty and her beloved husband Charles moved to Pomme De Terre Lake in Pittsburg, Missouri. She had a witty sense of humor and will be missed greatly.
Betty is survived by her daughters, Linda Newby (Dale) and Cindy Morales (Pat); grandchildren, McKenzie Weston (Mike), Madison Morales, Mataya Morales, Hillary Burrough (Josh), Haley Newby (Austin); bonus grandson, Josh Caldwell and great grandchildren, Skylar, Sutton and Ember Lou.
She’s preceded in death by her husband Charles and many brothers and sisters.
A visitation will be held from 1-3pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 at Speaks Buckner Chapel with a graveside service to follow at Buckner Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the KC Pet Project in her name.
