Mary Knepper

Mary Jean Knepper, 84, of Independence, MO was taken into God’s hands on Monday, March 14, 2011 at Villages of Jackson Creek. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Rd., Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Visitation will precede the Mass from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Interment in Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Jean was born April 24, 1926 in Norman, OK to Martin and Christine (Boeskin) Bode. She was a very loving and supportive wife and mother. Although she will be greatly missed, she will always be in our hearts. Mrs. Knepper is survived by her daughter Rebecca Knepper; sons Christopher (Kathy), Thomas (Ying) and Mark (Jennifer); six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, best friend and soul mate of 62 years, Maynard Knepper.
