Maynard Knepper

Maynard F. Knepper, 84 was taken into God’s hands on Nov. 3, 2009. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am, Fri. Nov 6, 2009 at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church, 130 NW Murray Rd. Lee’s Summit, MO. Visitation will precede the Mass from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 am. Interment will follow at 1 pm in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Contributions are suggest the Salvation Army. Mr. Knepper was born in Montpelier, OH on Sept. 18, 1925. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Mary Jean Knepper, his daughter Rebecca Knepper, his three sons, Christopher, Thomas and Mark. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Maynard was a Veteran of WWII and served proudly on the USS Franklin in the Pacific Theater. He was a loving and supportive husband and father. All though he will be greatly missed, he will reside in our hearts forever.
