Levera Knoche

Levera Olinda Knoche, 94, of Independence, MO, passed away on Tuesday February 28. 2023. She was born on May 26, 1928, in Napoleon, MO to August and Olga (Siefker) Knoche. Levera graduated Levasy Missouri High School in 1947 and after worked a few jobs until finding her passion as a nurse’s aide at St. Luke’s Hospital, where she went on to work for a little over 30 years. She loved taking care of people and was known to be the most pleasant person who was always happy and never was one to complain. Levera loved sewing, cross stitching, painting, coloring, and playing sudoku. Some of her favorite times were spent loving on her many nieces and nephews.

Levera is survived by her two brothers: Edwin (Virginia) and Elroy (Loreta), as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings; Fred, Louise, Harold, Ray, and Berniece.
A graveside will be held at 10am on Monday March 6, 2023, at Ebenezer Cemetery (37704 E Bone Hill Rd, Sibley, MO 64088).
