James M. Kobe

James M. Kobe, 44, Independence, MO passed away Oct. 25, 2015. Services will be 10 am, Friday, Oct. 30 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery in Independence. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel. James was born Feb. 4, 1971 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from Southwest High School in 1990. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked at Lake City for 7 years and was currently working at Wal-Mart. James was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Beulah and James Turley and father-in-law Bob Hill. He is survived by his wife of 18 years Michelle Kobe, of the home; brother Marty Rooks, Cameron, MO; mother Penney Jeaneret, St. Petersburg, FL; mother-in-law Donna Hill; brothers-in-law Brian Hill; Jeff Hill and wife Tammy, all of Independence, MO and many other family members.
