Marjorie Crispin (Dilley) Koehly, 90, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at Golden Living Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2010 in the chapel. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Marjorie was born June 14, 1919 in DeWitt, MO to Willis and Vera Mary (Crispin) Dilley, the youngest of five siblings all of whom have preceded her in death. She worked at the Forum Cafeteria as a countergirl where she met her husband George J. Koehly, who was a cook there. They shared 43 wonderful years together before his death in 1981. Mrs. Koehly was a life long resident of Independence. Marjorie spent 29 years working for Standard State Bank as a teller and commercial loan officer before retiring in 1980. Mrs. Koehly is survived by her daughter DeLois Rinehart; sons George D. Koehly and wife June, Thomas Koehly and wife Cheryl; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren with two on the way; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
