Claudia Koenig

Claudia L. Koenig, 70, of Kansas City, MO passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation will be 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation to follow. Private inurnment in Mt. Washington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice. Claudia was born April 9, 1940 in Kansas City, MO to Elwood and Violet (Black) Hendershot. She worked for 27 years in the cafeteria at Scaritt Elementary School. Mrs. Koenig is survived by her children Robert Koenig and wife Tina, Keith, Kevin and Mike Koenig, Susan Koenig, David Koenig and wife Kim; by her brother Gary Hendershot; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and by a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Claudia was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Koenig in ’02. She was loved by all and be sorely missed. The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Kansas City Hospice who took excellent care of Claudia in her final days.
