Sonya Lynette Cox Korn, 45, of Blue Springs, MO died November 4, 2015 from an Anoxic Brain Injury. She was born June 24, 1970 in Kansas City, Missouri, and married Brad Korn on February 29, 2000. Sonya is survived by her husband Brad; four daughters: Lindsay Korn, Allison Korn, Elizabeth Korn, and Savannah Korn, & her dogs: Duke & Humphrey Korn. She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Cox & mother, Mary Jean DeShasier & her other two dogs, Snicker & Frisker. She graduated from Center Senior High, Class of 1988. Sonya was a Realtor & Owner of Korn Team, KW Realty. She loved spending time with family & friends, crafting, & shopping. Whether it was skydiving in Aruba or jumping into a fountain in California, Sonya always made sure to live life to the fullest. When Sonya walked into a room full of people she pulled everyone together and the fun began. Now as she is resting peacefully & pulling thousands of rooms full of people together. Her message is be thankful, live life to it's fullest & let those around you know how much they are loved every day. A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, at Timothy Lutheran Church, 425 NW RD Mize Rd., Blue Springs, MO 64015. A celebration of life service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, at the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Wayside Waifs at www.waysidewaifs.org or Kansas City Hospice House in Sonya’s name. Any flowers that are sent, should be sent directly to the church.
