Berniece M. Krahl

Berniece McLain Krahl, 91, of Independence, passed away Fri, Mar. 16, 2007 at St. Mary�s Manor in Blue Springs, MO. Private Inurnment services will be held at a later date in Md. Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Community of Christ South Crysler Congregation. Mrs. Krahl was born on Feb. 12, 1916 to Joseph and Bertha (Simpson) McLain in Thayer, MO. In the 1940�s she had worked for KMBC Broadcasting and in 1946 she married Allen Kenneth Krahl. Berniece was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed gardening, sewing, quilting, church work, collecting stamps and coins and doing genealogy. She especially loved the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Berniece was preceded in death by her husband in 1973. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Piedimonte of Independence and a stepson, Robert Vincent Krahl and wife Nancy of Westwood, KS. A sister, JoAnn Hendricks of Odessa, TX. Four grandchildren, Kristal Krahl Camp, Kory Krahl, Shayna Piedimonte and Amber Piedimonte. Six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
