Harvey Kralicek, 92, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Fountains at Greenbriar.
A Celebration of Harvey’s Life will be 10:00 AM Monday, April 12, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to Village Hospice, 400 NW Murray Rd. Lee’s Summit, MO 64081 or the First United Methodist Church of Independence.
Harvey was born November 9, 1917 in Caldwell, KS the son of Richard and Lily Mae (Posey) Kralicek. He owned and operated Dobson Cleaners in Independence for over 35 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Independence Host Lions Club for over 50 years.
Harvey was preceded in death by his loving wife Gloria of 72 years; sister Dee Wolf; and brother, Kenneth Kralicek.
Survivors include his daughter Donna Dowell and husband Jerry, Independence, MO; son Bob Kralicek, Kansas City, MO; grandsons Greg Dowell and wife Kristal, Blue Springs, MO; Steven Dowell and wife Rayanne, Lawrence, KS; Bert Dowell, Independence, MO; Jeff Dowell and wife Dawn, Wheaton, IL; Bob Kralicek and wife Diane, Overland Park, KS; and twelve great-grandchildren; and sister Opal Gile, Wichita, KS.
