Ruby Jane (Davis) Kramer, 79, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Carson-Speaks Chapel; 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Independence, MO. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday at Turner Cemetery, northwest of Rogersville, MO. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Crossroads Hospice.
Ruby was born August 17, 1931 in Springfield, MO the daughter of Marion Thomas and Lockie Ann (Clubb) Davis. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anna Barker in 2006; sister and her parents. Survivors include her husband, Walter W. Kramer, Sr. of 37 years; son, Thomas States; daughters, Beverly States and Carie Fisher; step children, Walter Kramer, Jr, Sharon Cavanaugh, Rodney Kramer and Karen Woods; grandsons, Shawn and Troy Ray Donelson and sister, Neal Lawson.
