March 7, 2015, was the day that our heavenly Father gently called our beloved home. She had celebrated her 95th birthday recently and her family has no doubt that her reunion in heaven with family and friends was a joyous occasion. Among those waiting to greet her was her husband,
George Delmar Kroesen, parents: Frank and Isabel Teter, son George Delmar Kroesen II, daughter: Barbara Louise Mart, sons in law: Jack Cooper and Roy Mart, brother: Lauren (Mel) Teter, and sister; Gladys Jean (Tookie) Fillinger, and many others. Surviving family includes her sister: Virginia Schwarz, sister in law: Joan Teter, both of Independence, and daughter: LaNita Kroesen Cooper, of Holden, Missouri. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren will all remember her with happy thoughts and special love. Louise, or Weez, as many in the family called her, was a talented woman. She like to paint in oils, work with ceramics, do needle work, and decorate cakes, including wedding cakes for daughters and granddaughters. Reading was a special enjoyment for Mom, Russian novels, her idea of fun, daily Bible study a comfort, and poetry, a place to dream. She had disliked formal schooling, but continued to study, learn and create all of her life. She was a dedicated wife and mother, happiest when at home with family. Our family wishes to thank all of the kind staff and residents of the Holden Manor and Southern Care Hospice. Their kindness, love, and friendship will always be appreciated and remembered. Memorial visitation will be from 1-3 pm Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Carson Speaks Chapel. Graveside Inurnment will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Mound Grove Cemetery.
