John Kupka

John Clemens Kupka, 66, Kansas City, MO died March 25, 2008. Services will be 10 am, Sat., March 29, 2008 at The River Christian Fellowship, 6400 Woodson Rd., Kansas City, MO, 64133; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel.
John was born April 24, 1941 in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Southwest High School where he earned All-State Honors in football and track. He then went to Kansas State University where he was named a football All-American as a freshman. After graduation from Kansas State, he earned a Masters in Electrical Engineering from UMKC. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. John was a member and very involved in his church.
John was preceded in death by his father Harold Kupka, sister Patricia Kerr and son David Allen. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Diana Kupka, of the home; son John Clemens Kupka, Jr.; daughter Christine (Kupka) Hamilton, both of Kansas City, MO; son Kenneth Michael Kupka, Blue Springs, MO; daughter Kelly Hall, Gallatin, TN; son Mark Allen, Blue Springs, MO; daughter Kathy Barron, Independence, MO; daughter Lily Fields, Kansas City, MO; daughter Cheyenne Kupka; son Marty Kupka; son Andrew Kupka; son Shane Kupka; daughter Madison Kupka, all of the home; mother Mildred Statham, Kansas City, MO; sister Carole Rudloff, Louisville, KY; brother Bruce Kupka, Overland Park, KS; grandchildren Sarah Kupka, Danielle Kupka, Rebekah Hamilton, Suzanne Hamilton, Kory Kupka, Rikki Kupka, Donavan Barron, Austin Barron, Joshua Hall, Tiffany Hall, Hunter Allen Kadin Allen; and many other family members and grandchildren.
