Chris Lackey, 12 of Warrensburg died Sun, May 27, 2007 as a result of an automobile accident. Services will be 10:00 am, Thu. May 31, 2007 at the Carson- Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO 64052. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 �" 8:30 pm, Wednesday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested in his memory c/o Warrensburg, Middle School, 640 E. Gay, Warrensburg, MO. 64093. Please mail all donations to the school directly. Chris was born on Dec. 31, 1994 to Melissa Sue Lackey and Robert Lopez in Independence. He had just completed the 6th grade at Warrensburg Middle School. He was a loving son and grandson who enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, boating, playing paint ball and football and loved to play video games. He had been a member of the Big Brothers Organization. Chris is survived by his mother, Melissa Sue Lackey of Warrensburg, his father, Robert Lopez of Kansas City, MO,; grandparents, Ricky “Papa” and Debbie Lackey of Independence, Ruth and John Lopez of Kansas City, MO. Great grandfather, Delbert Lackey of Kansas City, MO. Two uncles, Chris Lackey of Overland Park, KS and Joshua Lackey of Kansas City, MO and by many other family and friends.
