Ronald Otis "Ronnie" Ladd

Ronnie Ladd, 75, beloved husband and father, passed away November 1, 2015. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 7pm at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Ronnie was born on October 10, 1940 in Fordland, MO to Dick and Emma (Evans) Ladd. He was married at St. Ann’s Catholic Church over 48 years ago to the love of his life, Linda (Soetaert) Ladd. They were blessed with 3 children. Ronnie was deeply devoted to his wife and children, as a team they could face any storm. Ronnie enjoyed working on small engines and spending time with his friends at the Fairmont Community Center. He enjoyed watching old sitcoms on TV with his trusty companion Harley by his side. Survivors include wife Linda Ladd; sons Kevin Ladd and Bryan Ladd (Amie); grandchildren Amber Olson Ladd, Blake Ladd, and Lilian Ladd; brothers Robert Ladd and Ralph Ladd; sisters Wilma Mackey, Patricia Ladd, Grace Sinclair, Sharon Mammorila, Peggy Neil, and Brenda Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Ronnie is preceded in death by; his parents; daughter Vickie Ladd; brothers Thomas Ladd and Jerry Ladd; sisters Claire Rainwater and Nadine Simons.
