Minnie F. Lamb, 76, Independence, MO passed away August 29, 2015 at her home in Independence after a long battle with Colon Cancer surrounded by family. Services will be 10 am, Wed., Sept. 2 at Carson-Speaks Chapel 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052; interment at Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 am before the service at the chapel.

Minnie was born to Ora Ruth (Hutchison) Vaughan and Carley S Vaughan on December 19, 1938 in Dunnegan, Missouri. She married Daniel Charles Lamb on July 18, 1955 and lived most of her life in Independence Missouri. Born to them Irma Sue Shirk (husband Bob) of Independence, Nancy Cooley (husband Mark) of Kidder, and Daniel Lamb, Jr. She was preceded in death by husband Daniel Charles Lamb and Daniel Lamb, Jr.; siblings Clyde Vaughn, Charles Vaughan, Floyd Vaughan, Kenny Vaughan, Betty Breshears, Lorene Evans, Velma Nadine Vaughan and Ruth Ellen Vaughan. Surviving Grandchildren are Kyle Shirk, Roger Cooley, Charles Cooley, Michael Cooley and Danny Lamb; Great-Grandchildren Kaitlyn Cooley, Kevin Cooley, Jack Cooley, Jared Cooley, June Cooley, Hunter Cooley, Hailey Cooley and Hayden Cooley. Surviving siblings include Donna Whittaker, Faye Lamb and Dale Vaughan.
