Jeanne M. Larson (Casper)

Jeanne M. Larson, 85, Independence, MO passed away Feb. 12, 2015. Services will be 2:30 pm, Tuesday, Feb. 17 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin at 1 pm before the service at the chapel. Jeanne was born June 4, 1929 in Thief River Falls, MN. She worked for the Social Security Administration for sixteen years before her retirement in 1993. She enjoyed reading all types of books and traveling but most important to her was her family. Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Mel Larson, in 2005. She is survived by sons Greg Larson and wife Theresa, Branson, MO; Tom Larson and wife Linda, Independence, MO; Jack Larson, Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter Lori Wenig and husband Roger, Independence, MO; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
