Kimberly Sue Lawrence, 48 of Raytown, MO, passed away, Sunday, March 25, 2012 at the Kansas City Hospice House.

Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Entombment will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m., until service time Friday at the chapel. Donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice.

Kimberly was born May 16, 1963 in Kansas City, MO to Charles E. and Beverly A. and (White) Martin and had been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Blue Springs High School in 1982 and was a member of the Community of Christ Congregation.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Ashley M. Ridgley and her father Charles E. Martin.

Survivors include; her husband, Scott Lawrence of the home; a son, Pfc. Bryan Anderson stationed in Afghanistan; 2 daughters, Stephanie Martin of Kansas City, MO and Amber D. Welton (Barrett) of Harrisonville, MO; her mother, Beverly Martin of Independence, MO; 2 sisters, Sandra G. Martin of Merriam, KS and Lisa A. Stewart (Ron) of Kearney, MO; 3 brothers, Thomas C. Martin of Ft. Myers, FL, Richard E. Martin of Independence, MO and James R. Martin of Kearney, MO; her grandson, Payton A. Martin and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
