Lonnie Leamon

Lonnie Jean Leamon, 67 of Independence, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2014 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th Street Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., until service time Friday at the Chapel. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery. Lonnie was born March 27, 1947 in St. Francis County, AR. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker who enjoyed traveling and cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and extended family. She was an active member alongside her husband, Ray in the Shrine and was a member of the RLDS church. Survivors include; her children. Denise Reinhart (Jan Stange) of Wichita, KS, Lorrie Bartmess (Scott) of Kansas City, MO and Bob Cowan (VaRonna) of Independence, MO; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Kagarice (Luke), Andrea Reinhart, Jake Cowan and Ruby Jane Bartmess and one great grandchild, Ally Jo Kagarice.
