Ledlie Ann Andrews

Ledlie Ann (nee Johnston) Andrews passed away peacefully July 13, 2026. Ledlie was born September 10, 1943 in Hannibal, Missouri to Melvin and Dorothy (Lanning) Johnston.

She attended Hannibal High School and Culver Stockton College, where she met her husband.

Ledlie married Stanley Andrews on April 12, 1963. They were blessed with two daughters, Adele Duncan and Cara Davenport.

Ledlie was an office manager for several medical practices in the Kansas City area before retiring.

She loved to read and do word search puzzles. Ledlie’s love for her fur-babies was unrivaled throughout the years. She had many opportunities to travel, but her heart belonged to Sanibel Island, Florida where many family memories were made. Ledlie was a very quiet and private person and she will be dearly missed.

Ledlie is survived by her daughters, Adele Duncan and Cara Davenport (Dan Birdwell); her grandchildren, Madeline (Garrett) Adams and Seth Davenport; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy (Tom) Morgan; and a nephew, Tyler (Brooke) Morgan.

She was proceeded in death by her husband of 63 years, Stanley J. Andrews, and her parents, Melvin and Dorothy (Lanning) Johnston.

A private family service will be held to honor Ledlie’s life. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time.
