Connie Lemaster

Connie Lemaster, 64 of Independence, MO, passed away, Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel. Donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society. Connie was born December 26, 1946 in Independence, MO to Richard and Hazel (Robinson) Danner and has been a lifelong area resident having attended Ft. Osage High School. She retired from Kohl’s Dist. Center. She was married to Melvin Lemaster on October 12, 1973; He survives of the home. Other survivors include; 2 daughters, Belinda Hedrick of the home and Wendy Kleoppel (Brian) of Odessa, MO; a son, Duane Carson (Cynthia) of Tampa FL; a brother, Richard Danner (Sharon); 4 sisters, Barb Quinn (Bob), Kay Ronsley, Terry Fohn (Melvin) and Vicky Gilliland (Mark) and 6 grandchildren, Jonathan Carson, Nickolas Carson, Ashley Kleoppel, Allison Deshazer, Austin Deshazer and Matthew Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Becky Lemaster in 1984 and a sister, Betty Alice Phillips in 2008.
