Ignota Irene Lemler, 93 passed away Wed. Apr. 27, 2011 at her home in Blue Springs, MO. An inurnment service will be 2 pm, May 14, 2011 in Oaklawn Cemetery in North Manchester, IN. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Odyssey Hospice, 800 E. 101st Terr, suite 150, Kansas City, MO 64131. Mrs. Lemler was born on Feb. 23, 1918 to Fred and Trecie (Ross) Fancil in Warsaw, IN and had lived in Pierceton, IN and Sebring, FL before moving to Blue Springs in 2008. She and her husband Frank owned and operated Lemler Farm Center in Pierceton, IN for many years. Mrs. Lemler was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren. She loved to play cards, embroidery, do rug work and playing with her cat, Casper. She was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the Eastern Star. She has also been a cook for the Lions club in Pierceton for many years. Mrs. Lemler was preceded in death by her husband Franklin E. Lemler and her stepdaughter, Patricia Shoemaker. She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (B.J.) Kempf of Blue Springs. A step-son David Lemler and wife, Jodie of Argos, IN, four grandchildren, Rick McCleary and Serita of Carmel, IN, James McCleary and Angie of Manhattan Beach, CA, Jamie Kempf and Beth of Harris, MN and Matthew Kempf and Regina of Oak Grove, MO.
