Doris Lewis

Doris N. Lewis, 85, of Independence, MO passed away March 7, 2008 at the Carmel Hills Living Center. Visitation from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens, Independence, MO. Doris was born September 21, 1922 in Independence, MO to John and Bessie Sackman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deana Pittman. Doris is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry Lewis; one granddaughter, Erin Pittman; one sister, Clara Rice; and her son-in-law, Bill Pittman.
