Victor Lewis

Victor H. Lewis, 70, of Independence, MO passed away December 13, 2011. A visitation will be held from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee’s Summit Road, Independence, MO. Burial will take place at Big Creek Cemetery, Bosworth, MO. Victor was born March 12, 1941 in Brunswick, MO to Fred and Catherine (Holtmeyer) Lewis. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Elizabeth Gooch; and one grandson, D. Scott Willis. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary L. Lewis; one daughter, Victoria L. Lewis-Ernst; one son, Christopher A. Lewis; one brother, James V. Lewis of Moberly, MO; as well as two granddaughters, Melissa Willis and Madison Ernst.
