Linda Kay Williams, 72 of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Independence Manor Care. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 4, 2025 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel with burial to follow at 1:00 p.m., Thursday at Crown Point Cemetery in Sedalia, MO. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel. Donation may be made in her name to the American Diabetes Association. Linda was born January 14, 1953 in Sedalia, MO to Hugh Martin and Alice Jean (Guinn) Williams and moved to Independence at an early age attending public schools and graduating from William Chrisman High School in 1971. She had worked as a clerk for the Department of Revenue for the license bureau from 1976 until she retired in 2000. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and collecting pigs and later dragons. She was a member of the Carlisle Baptist Church and current member of River Blvd. Baptist Church. She is survived by; her mother, Alice J. Williams of Independence, MO; a step son, Jason J. Westpfahl, Sr. of Fairview, MO; her ex husband Michael Westpfahl of Merryville, MO and 2 step grandchildren, Jason J. Westpfahl, Jr and Andrew M. Westpfahl.
