Nelle Lindmark

Nelle Lindmark, 83, of Lee�s Summit, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2003 after undergoing surgery for pancreatic cancer at the Independence Regional Health Center. A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, September 22 at 7:00 pm at the Community of Christ Church at 3371 Blue Ridge Blvd. Inurnment will be Tuesday, September 23 for family members. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Independence School District Scholarship Fund in the name of Marvin L. Lindmark or the Cancer Treatment Fund for Melanie Lindmark. Nelle lived a full and happy life as a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She was born on April 1, 1920 in Hiteman Iowa. She married Marvin L. Lindmark on November 30, 1941 and traveled through life with him. She was the wife of an Army Officer and enjoyed the traveling and social life that were a part of the Service. She worked as a Ward Secretary for the Independence Sanitarium for 10 years and then as a front office staff for Dr.�s Walker, Cokengton and Coe for 20 years. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church, Lee�s Summit congregation. Her husband Marvin L. Lindmark, her sister, Rose Allison and her brother, Hade Allison, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Marvin L. and John A. Lindmark. She had 5 grandsons and 10 grandchildren.
