Rosemary Florence Lindsey (Allen)

Rosemary Florence Lindsey, 82 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Private family services and interment will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Rosemary was born August 28, 1933 in Columbus, OH to John William and Grace Marie (Kelley) Allen. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family. She enjoyed sending cards and reading Western novels. She had worked as a caregiver most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hill Park Ward congregation. She served on the Relief Society and was a Temple worker at church. She was married to Del Mar L. Lindsey who preceded her in death on January 15, 1980. Survivors include; 4 daughters, Tina Porter, Tami Gochenour, Catherine Lindsey and Dorothy Thomas; 3 sons, Don Peck, Paul Peck and Harrison Peck; 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jane Allen, 3 brothers, Paul, Joseph and David Allen, 3 grandchildren, Sam and Lindsey Porter and Jasmine Rose Lindsey.
