Jann Link

October 12, 1953 — November 10, 2010

Jann Morgan Link of Blue Springs, Mo. passed away November 10, 2010 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Jann was born October 12, 1953 to James Lindsay and Norma (Upjohn) Morgan in Sydney, Australia. Jann was a truly unique Lady that never met a stranger and left an enduring impression and memory on those who spent any time with her.

Jann was preceded in death by her father, James Lindsay Morgan and father-in-law Daniel Elliott Link. She is survived by her husband Doug and daughter Jaimie of the home; mother, Norma Morgan of Sydney, Australia; brother, Lindsay (Janet) Morgan of Gosford, NSW, Australia; niece and nephews, Lee (Tian) and Wade of Sydney, Australia; dear friends, Jan and Roger Wynn of Melbourne, Australia; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Link of Higginsville, Mo.; brother-in-law, Rock (Cindy) Link also of Higginsville; and nieces and nephews Amber, Janine, Camille and Blake.

Jann was always active in charity work, loved her golf at Lakewood Oaks then at Country Club of Blue Springs and working at Alissa’s Interiors. In her last hours many of her close friends came to say goodbye and when she passed she was surrounded by Doug, Jaimie and her Amigo’s Nancy, Mary and Rita.

The family would like to thank Dr. Steve Gialde and his staff at Oak Grove Medical, the staff at Menorah Medical Center and her new BFF’s Dr. Berger and Dr. Morgan. Jann may be gone…but she will never be forgotten!

Jann’s wishes were for cremation, visitation will begin at 12:00 in the First Baptist Church, 1405 Main St. Blue Springs, Mo. (Saturday) November 13th with the service at 2:00. A celebration of Jann’s life will follow at the Country Club of Blue Springs beginning at 4:00.
