Margaret S. Lisk, 88, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at The Villages of Jackson Creek. A visitation will be from 7-8:30 PM Thursday, April 16 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the chapel with burial at Park Lawn Cemetery.
Margaret was born Nov. 19, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to Robert and Lena (Fischbach) Arnold. She married Kenneth A. Lisk and together raised three children. Margaret was a former member of Bethany Baptist Church and a current member of the First Baptist Church of Raytown. She loved shopping, people, and parties, and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and brother Lawrence Arnold. She is survived by her husband Kenneth; children: Sharon Miller and husband Jim, Ken Lisk and wife Marsha, and Steve Lisk; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brother Robert Arnold and wife Lorene; and a host of extended family and friends.
