Ora Little

Ora M. Little, 86, of Independence, MO passed away Friday, June 11, 2010 at St. Luke’s on the Plaza. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the chapel. Private burial in Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA. Ora was born September 27, 1923 in Columbia, MO to Oren and Elsie (Garner) Hazlett. Mrs. Little grew up in Fulton, MO and lived many years in Downey, CA before returning to Independence in 1998. Mrs. Little is survived by her three children, Patrick Sarver, Carol Valdez, Michael Helser; two sisters, Sally Flynn, Margaret Christian; brother Joseph Hazlett. She was preceded in death by her husband Jove “Jim” Little, Jr., first husband Ralph Helser; brother Lawrence Hazlett; sister Bonnie Flynn; and son Ralph Helser. Ora will be greatly missed and forever loved!
