Logan Codi
Rodgers
Feb 11, 2004 — Sep 8, 2026
Independence
Logan Codi Rodgers, beloved son, brother, grandson, family member, and friend, passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 22.
Logan was a remarkable young man whose bright mind, strong work ethic, and zest for life touched so many people. He graduated from Truman High School before earning his associate degree from Metropolitan Community College–Longview. Incredibly bright and determined, Logan maintained a 4.0 GPA, a testament to the dedication and perseverance he brought to everything he did.
At just 16 years old, Logan began working at QuikTrip, where he remained until beginning his new career as a union electrician. He was incredibly proud of this accomplishment and excited about the future he was building for himself. Logan was a hard worker who took pride in doing things well, and throughout his years at QuikTrip, he formed many wonderful and lasting relationships with coworkers and friends.
Those who knew Logan will remember his ornery personality. He had a way of making people laugh and bringing a little mischief wherever he went. Beneath that playful spirit was an incredibly compassionate soul. Logan genuinely cared about others and was always willing to lend a hand or help someone in need.
Above all else, Logan was family oriented. He absolutely adored his family and cherished the time he spent with them. Logan deeply admired and looked up to his dad, striving throughout his life to follow his example and make him proud. His father was a role model who inspired Logan in so many ways, including in his career. He held a particularly special place in his heart for his little sister and his grandparents. He also had a soft spot for his mom, who had a unique ability to calm him and bring him comfort no matter what was going on.
Logan had a true zest for life. He loved the feeling of going fast and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He spent time playing video games, traveling, and attending concerts, always eager to make memories and experience something new. He especially enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family, making countless memories during their time together at Bennett Springs.
Logan lived his life with energy, curiosity, humor, and heart. He worked hard for the future he wanted, loved deeply, laughed often, and made meaningful connections wherever he went. His time here was far too short, but the memories he created and the love he gave will remain with those who knew and loved him.
Logan’s passing is preceded by his Memaw, Tina Omenski; his Papa, Sam Bokarae; his great-grandpa, Bill Baker; his great-grandmas, Darlene McGonigal and Jackie Owens; and his great-great-grandma, Esther McMillan. His legacy of love and laughter lives on through
his parents, Christopher and Kishna Rodgers; his sister, Noni Rodgers; his pops, Greg Omenski; his grammy, Robin Baker-Bokarae; his pappy, Bruce Rodgers, and his nana, Sabrina Rodgers; his great-grams, Shirley Baker; and his papa, Dan Wilkens, and granny, Tammy Wilkens; his siblings, Kyler Carrol, Corbin Bosch, and Austynn Bosch; his grandparents, Bruce DeGhelder and Crystal Strickland; and his natural mother, Heather Deghelder.
