Stuart Alan Logston passed away unexpectedly in Fairway, KS. on Jan. 5, 2013, at the age of 54. A Celebration of Stuart’s Life will take place on Sat., Jan. 12 from 2-5:00 pm, at Allen’s Banquet Hall, 11330 E. Truman Rd., Independence, MO 64050. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the Missouri Conservation Dept., P.O. Box 180, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0180.
Stuart was born Oct. 11, 1958 in Independence, MO to loving parents, Joyce and Fred Logston. He graduated from Raytown High School in 1977. He then went on to graduate from Central Missouri State University with three degrees in 1982. He was a painting contractor by trade. He was a family man and would do anything in the world for his three children. No mountain was too high for Stuart to climb. He enjoyed many activities such as playing pool, relaxing by a campfire, camping, canoeing and fishing. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, significant other and friend to many.
Stuart was preceded in death by his father Fred Logston in 1999. He is survived by his children: Danial Logston and wife Krystle, Jessica McNamara and Lucas McNamara; his mother Joyce Logston; his brothers and sisters: Beth Wood and husband Sheldon, Denise VanDyke, David Logston and wife Lana, Becky Klug and husband Dave and Hayden Logston and wife Cory; his loving significant other Ann Hart and many other family members, friends and clients.
