Lois Anita Crain, 74, of Independence, MO, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026. Born on September 17, 1951 to Norman and Lanell Bettis. She was a devoted spouse, parent, and friend. 

Lois enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her loving spouse, Larry Crain; children, Brian Hutson, Michael Hutson, Max Crain, and Michelle Noack; and numerous grandchildren.

She's also survived by her brothers and sisters, Bob and Sue Bettis, Paul Bettis, Yvonne and Paul Angelbeck, Carl and Anne Bettis, Ida and Derrick Fogle; numerous nieces and nephews.

Her infectious laugh, legacy of love and kindness will be missed by all.

Services will be held at Speaks Suburban Chapel in Independence, MO., Saturday, May 16, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1pm with Memorial services to follow at 2pm.
