Loretta Jean Johnson, age 87 years, was born on March 14, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Henry G. Stolte and Margery L. Stolte-Courtois. She attended and graduated from Central High School in 1957.
Loretta married Carl W. Johnson on March 23, 1957, and had four children. Loretta was an assistant to a manager with social security until retiring in 2005. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She loved working out at Curves, reading, walking, and going to the lake with her parents and children. She was always cheerful and supportive to everyone. Loretta loved dancing, camping with friends, and giving hugs to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Loretta loved the word of the Bible and speaking about God.
Loretta is survived by her sons, Dennis Johnson (Stacey) and Jeffery Johnson; her daughter, Christine Evilsizer (Gary); her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her brother, Melvin Stolte (Nancy); her sisters, Brenda Jennings (Gary) and Patricia Clevenger (Dennis); her dear friends who became family, Trisha and Remy Bourgeois; and too many more to name. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Johnson; her son, Michael Johnson; her parents, Henry Stolte & Margery Stolte-Courtois; her sister, Ginger Stolte; and her granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson.
